Pin Calacal studied Fine Arts, Major in Studio Arts (Painting) at the University of the Philippines (UP), Diliman. In 2015, she graduated summa cum laude, the first to ever do so in the history of the UP College of Fine Arts. Before studying studio arts, she went to Ateneo de Manila University and graduated with a degree in Communications and a minor degree in English Literature.
After spending a huge portion of her youth stuck in Metro Manila traffic shuttling between the southern fringes of the metropolis to the city of Manila and later to Quezon City, she is now a full time artist who works in a space she shares with her Mom, sister and five dogs.
She has exhibit in various art spaces within and outside Manila.
